Wagrain is an ideal summer destination for families looking for an active vacation. Every summer, an adventure world is built at the top of Grafenberg. Among other things, it includes climbing walls, rafts, and a rope-and-balance path through nature. Additionally, one can river raft, rent electric bikes, hike, mountainbike, and swim in lakes or the water world. For those longing for winter it is also possible to get a sleigh ride at the ``Rodelbahn’’ or to ski at the gletscher Kitzsteinhorn which is roughly an hour from Wagrain. A fun one day trip could be to visit Werfen roughly 30 minutes from Wagrain where one of the attractions is the worlds largest ice cave, ``Eisriesenwelt’’.
