RENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Guests find current prices and availability of the apartment at www.snehulen.com. Prices are listed in euros per week for the winter season and per day during the remaining seasons. Winter season prices include cleaning of the apartment and tourist tax for a week running from Saturday to Saturday. Prices for all other seasons are per day and exclude the cost of cleaning which is € 150.

  • After booking, guests will receive a guest list to be filled out. Required information is:

    • Primary contact person: name, address, passport no., phone, and e-mail.

    • Complete names and birth dates of all participants.

    We pass this information on to the local authorities who use it to calculate tourist tax (included in price).


PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Guests will receive an e-mail confirmation and invoice when the booking has been confirmed along with additional practical information about the trip. 


TERMS OF PAYMENT

A deposit is due no later than seven (7) days after your booking have been confirmed. By paying the deposit, the primary contact person confirms to have read and accepted the relevant terms and conditions. The outstanding payment must be completed before December 1. For orders completed after December 1, the entire amount is due within seven (7) days of booking. The due date will be specified in the invoice. The invoice will also list the total price for the use of the entire apartment including final cleaning, bedding and tourist tax. Snehulen reserves the right to rent the apartment to a third party if the payment terms are violated by guests.
Important: Remember to include the booking number and name on any bank deposit made.

Guests will be held liable for cost incurred due to destruction or loss of effects belonging to the apartment. General wear and tear excluded. If a key is lost, the guest will pay € 100, as the entire key system will have to be recoded.

All special agreements between Snehulen and the guests must be confirmed by e-mail to be valid. Price of the trip does not include insurance against sickness.

Cancellation by guest:
If booking is canceled less than 70 days prior to the arrival date, we refund you 50% of the full amount (if paid). The payment is nonrefundable if the booking is canceled less than 40 days prior to arrival. The initial deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation by Snehulen:
Snehulen can only decide to cancel the trip due to sudden and exceptional circumstances that occur after booking. Sudden and very special circumstances can be disaster, war, riots, strike, or if the landlord determines that the apartment is unfit to stay at due to sudden destruction of parts or all of the apartment. If there is less than 30 days to departure the guest is provided with compensation so that the paid amount is returned together with an increase of 25 percent. 


ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE:

  • Arrival: Guests may arrive after 3 p.m. on the day of arrival.

  • Departure: Guests must leave the apartment no later than 10 a.m. on the day of departure

  • Keys are stored in a key box and the code will be sent to the guests upon receipt of payment.

  • REMEMBER that keys MUST always be returned to the box before departure. 


CLEANING AND KITCHEN EQUIPMENT

Our personel cleans the apartment and washes all linens, towels, etc., every Saturday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Guests receive the apartment with made beds and there is no further cleaning during the week. For hygienic reasons, we always wash bed linen and sheets on our own and require that guests leave the linen on the beds during their stay. Clean towels and dish cloths are also available at arrival.

The kitchen is equipped with items that cover basic needs:

  • Two fridges with smal built-in freezers, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, utensils, pots, etc.
